Devon, this market works a lot better than the market for human care — probably because most pets are uninsured and the owners are paying out of pocket.

I hope pet insurance doesn’t ruin the market for veterinary care the way it has the market for human care.

I agree with Larry. The market works very well at the moment — same procedures humans get at fraction of the price.

I’m not surpirsed that the states are addicted to tobacco. They can’t afford to have people quit smoking.

Only one million pets have health coverage? That leaves a lot of uninsured hedgehogs, snakes, turtles and geckos.
