During the great plagues of past centuries, like the Black Death, smallpox and yellow fever, God determined who lived and who died: Today, it’s the genes.
Can an analysis of brains and genes detect “psychopathic killers, capable of committing bone-chilling crimes without empathy, remorse or a sense of right and wrong?” An Italian court used such evidence to reduce a convicted killer’s sentence.

A lot of stuff on genes today. But ‘m intrigued by the idea that all you really need to know about a prospective mate is in her DNA.

I don’t agree with the Italian court or the spin that’s being put on the genetic basis for pyschotic behavior. Consider that all behavior may some day be traced back to our genes. Would this mean that we should never punish people or even criticize them for their bad behavior? Of course not.

Are you saying we all have to listen to country western because of Prof Reinhardt? Where’s the justice in that?
