Banning trans fats (as referenced in California as a nanny state) is clearly uncalled for. But should restaurants have to post their calorie counts? Nobel prize winning economist Gary Becker and federal judge Richard Posner weigh in. [here]

The House of Representatives is therefore ignoring the GAO, the CBO, and the Social Security Trustees –all of whom say that Medicare is on a fiscal collision course.

Please help. I’m looking for Mr. Hickson who, with Mr. Goodman, helped get the HSA program off the ground. I read an article or heard a tape where John Goodman gave credit to Mr/Dr Hickson as the one who originally came up with the idea.
I would really appreciate hearing back from you. I’m doing a short presentation on HSA’s and would like to contact (is it “Jesse”) Hickson.
At some point, I would also like to talk with John Goodman about our project. Thanks for your help.
