This is from the National Center for Health Statistics:

In 2007, 17.3% of persons under 65 years of age with private health insurance were enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), 4.5% were enrolled in consumer-directed health plans (CDHPs), and 14.8% were in a family with a flexible spending account (FSA) for medical expenses.

Socialized Medicine is the keystone in the arch of Socialism.

  2. Joe S. Says:

Congress is largely ignoring these facts.

  3. Ken Says:

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) are use-it-or-lose-it accounts. They give patients incentives to waste end-of-year balances. This is the opposite incentive of Health Saving Accounts (HSAs), which are use-it-or-save-it accounts.
